PERFORMING NEW YEAR’S EVE SHOW IN VICTORIA, BC

Toronto, ON – October 25, 2019 – Today, dynamic Victoria, BC-based electronica group, Astrocolor, return with a vibrant new song, Renegade. The single is the first from their forthcoming album, Hue, set for release early 2020 via Entertainment One. The song arrives with visuals directed by Astrocolor and filmed by frequent collaborator, Cody Morell (The Runaway), on Vancouver Island. Watch the video for Renegade here.

On the video and single’s inspiration, DJ/producer/frontman, Neil Cooke-Dallin says: "Renegade is a banging old school rave anthem, leveraging the legendary Renegade Master sample made famous in the '90s by hip hop artist A.D.O.R. The video was filmed by Cody Morell, who also shot our video for The Runaway last year. Cody is based in Las Vegas but came to the west coast of Canada for the first time in his life, to shoot amongst the beauty of Vancouver Island. Our intention was for the 1966 Mustang and '70s walkie talkies to create the feel of a vintage caper, at once both ominous and humorous."

Astrocolor will cap off a big year by ringing in 2020 in their hometown of Victoria. They’ll perform a special New Year’s Eve show at Capital Ballroom on December 31. Tickets go on sale November 1 – details can be found here.
