The band recently debuted stripped down studio versions of their songs, Call It A Night, and Howling, which are both featured on the EP – the highly-anticipated follow up to their 2016 self-titled debut. The band’s catalogue has over 65 million streams on Spotify alone, with the new EP already reaching over 5 million streams, and the band amassing over 1 million monthly listeners. Album track, I Wont Be Back, was also included in Rolling Stone’s 10 Best Country, Americana Songs of the Week.
Composed of Khalid Yassein (vocals, guitar), Devan Glover (vocals), Julien Laferriere (drums) and Andrew Oliver (guitar, bass), Wild Rivers has accrued more than 30 million streams on Spotify over three years, toured consistently across the U.S. and Canada, and has earned a reputation as a band that makes a powerful, lasting connection with their listeners. The Toronto-based band – coming from all different musical backgrounds – finds inspiration within the 1970s, including artists such as Fleetwood Mac, James Taylor and Neil Young, all while being able to blend their hallmark storytelling styles with contemporary approaches to melody.
