"With killer harmonies and heartfelt lyrics, Call It a Night shows off Wild Rivers' lush vocals and seamless chemistry. It's a slow-burning song until the last minute or so, the quiet intensity building from the first notes to give Call It a Night a gorgeous finish."

– The Boot

“...a gorgeous little gem with some seriously haunting melodies.”Fuzzy Logic

“...so lovely and unique that it seems as though everyone who listens to them becomes an instant fan.” – The Aquarian

Toronto, ON – December 5, 2018 – Wild Rivers
have been going non-stop since the summer release of their EP, Eighty-Eight, touring heavily in support of the new album, including a 21-date North American run with The Paper Kites. It is impossible not to leave the room smiling following one of their intoxicating live shows, and the group is thrilled to announce that they will be back out on the road in early 2019 bringing their songs to audiences across Quebec and southern Ontario. Full details can be found below.

The band recently debuted stripped down studio versions of their songs, Call It A Night, and Howling, which are both featured on their Eighty-Eight EP – the highly-anticipated follow up to their 2016 self-titled debut. The 5-song release has already reached over 2.8 million streams on Spotify alone, with the band amassing over 1.4 million monthly listeners. Album track, I Wont Be Back, was also included in Rolling Stone’s 10 Best Country, Americana Songs of the Week.

Wild Rivers – composed of Khalid Yassein (vocals, guitar), Devan Glover (vocals), Julien Laferriere (drums) and Andrew Oliver (guitar, bass) – over three years, has accrued more than 30 million streams on Spotify, toured consistently across the U.S. and Canada, and has earned a reputation as a band that makes a powerful, lasting connection with their listeners. The Toronto-based band, coming from all different musical backgrounds, finds inspiration within the 1970s, including artists such as Fleetwood Mac, James Taylor and Neil Young, all while being able to blend their hallmark storytelling styles with contemporary approaches to melody.

Stay tuned for more exciting news and treats from the finest purveyors of “Folk ‘n Roll and Country Soul” in the new year!
