Here's what critics on both sides of the Atlantic are saying about Faster:

"'Better Be Lonely' treads a line between the sounds of Fish's previously released pop-rock monster, 'Twisted Ambition' and the rootsier 'Crowd Control,' blending a bag of classic 'Stones-style licks and tones with a soulful vocal performance." - Guitar World

"Twisted Ambition' is slinky and funky and features a chorus that will work its way into your skull like a trepanning drill." - Classic Rock

"Faster does just as its title does and takes things up a notch or two. The hooks are catchier than ever, the guitar work has more fire... the record leaves the listener in little doubt that the Kansas City-born singer-songwriter is here to deliver straight-up swagger, with zero apologies." - Total Guitar

"A fascinating step for an artist who always manages to find something new to say." - No Depression

"Genre-busting guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Samantha Fish turns all of her powers loose on her brand new album Faster...Faster shows Fish digging deeper into her rock and roll bag than ever before while still showing love for the blues and roots music at her core." - Rock and Blues Muse

"Press play on Samantha Fish's new album Faster, and you will recognize that voice immediately. You'll recognize the guitar, too. It's blues-rock electric guitar played with a louche, devil-may-care feel." - Music Radar
