Toronto, ON – January 25, 2019 – Today, Montreal-based electro-pop artist, Radiant Baby, shares his new single, Funny Games, and its accompanying music video. Brooklyn Vegan has debuted the video, stating, “In the bouncy, danceable track he deals with romantic issues and it’s clear he’s not laughing. The video unearths footage from his radiant childhood”. Funny Games explores ambivalence and conflicts in romantic relationships. The song conveys a mixture of frustration, hope, disappointment and excitement. Relationships are funny games: amusing and playful, yet strange and difficult to grasp. This is the final single to be released off Radiant Baby's debut full-length, Restless, which is out February 8th on Lisbon Lux Records.
Felix Mongeon, aka Radiant Baby has been making a name for himself in the Montreal music scene for the last two years. Since his early beginnings, his rich and festive electro-pop productions have won over fans and media alike. Following his flamboyant debut EP It’s My Party in 2017, Radiant Baby starts afresh with his first full length, due out in February 2019. For his upcoming LP, he merges crisp electronic sounds with raw IRL instrumentation, conveying a more mature and dynamic aesthetic. To convey this new direction, Radiant Baby is currently developing a new live show with a full band.
R.B. has shared the stage with world-renowned artists, such as Peaches, Kali Uchis, Róisín Murphy, and Yelle. He has also played at POP Montreal, M for Montreal, Canadian Music Week, Fashion & Design Festival and Piknic Électronik. Radiant Baby signed to Lisbon Lux Records (LLR) in 2016.
