Toronto, ON – September 5, 2017 – Prophets Of Rage (Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, Brad Wilk, Chuck D, B-Real and DJ Lord) have shared Strength in Numbers, the fourth track unveiled in advance of their forthcoming self-titled debut album, which is set for release on September 15^th, 2017 via Fantasy Records. The song made its worldwide premiere yesterday, with an accompanying band interview, on BEATS 1 as Zane Lowe’s WORLD RECORD. The show is now available ON DEMAND and the PLAYLIST will be posted to APPLE MUSIC.

With its staccato intro, crunching riffs, quick-fire lyrical delivery and wall-of-sound reprise, Strength In Numbers is a call for unity to all those divested of the American Dream and exhausted by what gets served up in its place:

"Strength In Numbers is a Molotov Marshall Stack Manifesto,” stated Tom Morello. “We stand together or we fall apart. The world is in chaos, but if we're gonna go down we're gonna go down together...AND we're gonna go down swinging. The question remains: can we be as united in the streets as we are in the mosh pit? Let's find out."

At its core, Prophets Of Rage functions not only on a love of music, but a deep belief in its power as a tool, and a weapon. Woven into the band’s DNA are influences as varied as The Clash, KRS-One, and Johnny Cash, as well as the undeniable ideals and aesthetics of its predecessors: Public Enemy’s frenzied, racing textures, Rage’s jaw-melting riffs, Cypress Hill’s manically playful party energy. “The music is the passport to the world,” Chuck D says, describing the unique bond the group shares. “It’s not always a given to have members who want to go where few have gone.”

Prophets Of Rage will mark the release of their new album with a limited run of club shows on the east coast including the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, the Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia, the Apollo Theater in New York City and the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C.
