Toronto, ON – March 14, 2018Our Lady Peace have unleashed their full new album, Somethingness, and are in the midst of a stellar cross-Canada tour with Matthew Good – sharing iconic favourites, and the new tunes from Somethingness, with audiences in arenas and theatres across the country.

The Eastern leg of the tour saw sold out dates in Moncton, Montreal, Hamilton, and London, and will stop in Toronto for two sold out shows this week at Massey Hall and Rebel. Toronto fans will also be treated to a special third performance on Thursday (March 15), when the band hits 102.1 The Edge’s studio for a lunchtime Sugar Beach Session. The band starts their trek West next week, with many of the upcoming dates already sold out as well.

“Intentions of putting together a tour of this magnitude and personality usually fall short,” reflects Our Lady Peace frontman, Raine Maida. ”This OLP x Matt Good tour is different. The meeting of the minds worked here. We’ve been giving our collective fans the best and most creative shows night after night. The fan reaction and sold out shows prove they’ve been absolute fire and will continue across this great country. This is the kind of tour you work for your entire career, and we did it. Amazing people, fans, production and music!”

The first half of Somethingness was released in October 2017 as the Somethingness Volume I EP, and now the complete full-length album is available for listeners everywhere. In its first week of release, the record hit #2 on the Alternative Chart, #9 Top Current Albums, #12 Top Albums with Track Equivalent Album included, and #29 on the Consumption Chart. The lead single, Nice To Meet You, also cracked the Top 10 for downloads in the first week, and hit #1 for Most Active Indies. The album is available on vinyl and CD, exclusively during the tour, and through the band’s Pledge Music campaign.
