VIDEO PREMIERES ON INDIE88

Toronto, ON – October 23, 2017 – Only Yours has shared the brand new music video for their song, Edge Of My Dreams. Directed by award-winning writer, director and photographer, Fraser Thomas White, the video acts as a guide to the band’s hometown of Toronto – featuring six different locations across the city. “Working alongside director, Fraser Thomas White and cinematographer, Robert Lyte, was a long time coming and we couldn't be happier with the results for Edge Of My Dreams,” says Only Yours frontman, Lowell Sostomi. “We shot at six locations throughout Toronto, including our favourite bar, Unlovable and filmed through all hours of the day/night in order to capture the dream-like scenes. Edge Of My Dreams is one of our favourite tracks off of our EP and features one of our favourite vocalists in the city, Leah Fay of July Talk.”

Edge Of My Dreams follows the band’s previously released singles, Waiting (featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday, New Music Now, and Indie All Stars playlists), Living For The Moment (which Indie Current dubbed “indie-pop perfection”) and the band's debut single, Different (which hit over 100K Spotify streams in its first 2 weeks).

The Toronto-based indie-pop outfit, led by songwriter, Lowell Sostomi, was originally conceived as an avenue for Sostomi and Kyle Watt to explore their interest in more experimental electronic music following the dissolution of an earlier project, but over time was reshaped as Sostomi’s songwriting instinct came to the fore. As the band evolved Sostomi and Watt recruited bassist Devon Henderson and drummer Shaun Hogan to forge a sound at once anthemic and introspective – informed by an attention to textural detail born from their early experimentations, but rooted in Sostomi's traditional songwriting sensibilities without being too tightly tethered to the past. The group effortlessly combines anthemic, melodic choruses with clean, crisp studio tones, late 70s production values and hard-hitting rhythm sections. The band released their self-titled EP via Pirates Blend in October 2016.
