TORONTO, ON – April 9, 2020 – Today, Mt. Joy share their greasy, groovy new video for My Vibe, the latest from their anticipated sophomore LP, Rearrange Us (out June 5 via Dualtone Records – pre-order here).
Director, Steve Girard (aka Stevie Eats Worms), takes us to a grotesque playhouse diner full of psychedelic hijinks and rollerblading…if it was on late-night ‘90s MTV. The music itself shows off the band’s more playful side while blending their rootsy stomp with swirls of synthesizers; My Vibe and the rest of Rearrange Us displays this new, more colorful side of Mt. Joy. Mt. Joy has evolved from Matt Quinn’s literal bedroom project into a five-piece group, garnering No. 1s on the AAA Radio Charts, hundreds of millions of streams, arena tours with The Lumineers and more, as well as appearances at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Newport Folk Festival, and other major festivals. The group continues to stay connected with their fans and perform live while self-isolating: on April 15th, they will perform on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.
