Toronto, ON – July 16, 2018 – Rising harpist/singer/pianist/songwriter Mikaela Davis’ debut album Delivery was released Friday on Rounder Records and has been met with raves, and coverage from WFUV, WXPN, Ladygunn and GirlBoss, MOJO, the BBC, Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist and much more. The John Congleton-produced LP finds Davis, a classically trained musician, unspooling her sweet and salty songs in a hypnotic whorl of sparkling harp and fuzzed out pop exploration.
Mikaela and her band of longtime friends will celebrate Delivery with shows in Brooklyn July 26 at Baby’s All Right and in her hometown of Rochester, NY on August 11. She just announced an overseas and U.S. fall headlining run and recently wrapped up a month-long, sold-out national tour with Lake Street Dive.
