NEW ALBUM WEIRD ONES SET FOR RELEASE

Toronto, ON – January 28, 2020 – Matt Holubowski presents Two Paper Moons, a new song from his upcoming record Weird Ones. The singer-songwriter with the expressive voice and unique phrasing pushes sonic experimentation to another level on this album to be released on February 21. With Two Paper Moons, he oscillates between melancholy and optimism.

An ode to owning being different, Weird Ones invites us into a parallel universe, a world at once beautiful, strange, colourful, and surreal, a place where everything is possible: "I've always wanted to cultivate a certain strangeness," adds Holubowski. "The title, Weird Ones, is a reference to the marginal and singular people who've inspired me and continue to do so, whether their extravagance is expressed flamboyantly or in a more introspective way. I think there are thousands of ways of tapping into your weird side and using it to be creative."

Matt Holubowski and his musicians are back on tour to present Weird Ones and kicked off the 2020 tour last week in his home province of Quebec. In March Matt will be making his way across North America, with stops in Vancouver, Kitchener, Toronto, Hamilton, and Kingston.
