Toronto, ON – April 6, 2018 – Toronto’s relentless guerrilla-folk-party-punk-superband, Lemon Bucket Orkestra, has had a busy couple of months. Since celebrating the release of their new album, If I Had The Strength, with a sold out crowd at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall last November, they have been out touring on both of the US coasts. This month, they toured down to New Zealand, playing three major arts festivals, including the legendary WOMAD in New Plymouth – a show that prompted the Taranaki Daily News to proclaim, “When LBO ditched the stage and jumped in with the crowd on Saturday night they cemented themselves a place in WOMAD lore,” while Stuff Magazine noted that, “LBO’s middle of the crowd finish might just be the moment of WOMAD 2018!”

To celebrate their return home, the 12-strong massive is throwing a special party on Friday, April 27^th at one of their favourite Toronto venues, the beloved Opera House. To mark the occasion, the entire performance will be captured with a multi-camera, broadcast quality video shoot, and they’re welcoming fans old and new to come down join in on the fun to help make it a night to remember, all captured in beautiful high definition. "We've spent the better part of the last year on the road and people are always surprised to find out we're from Toronto because we don't sing in English,” says The Lemon’s ringleader, Mark Marczyk. “But such a massive part of who we are as a band is a result the relationship we've been able to cultivate with our amazing hometown fans. It’s an attitude towards performance that we take with us wherever we play, and we want to commemorate the fact by making them a big part of this live video project!"     

Indeed, LBO has always been about connecting with audiences and making sure their biggest fans, and the city that gave them their start, are part of their first major live video project, is just another way of try and say thanks. A surprise opening act will be joining in on the fun to help get the party started, to be announced a week before the show. So, come down for the party, and stay for your 15 minutes of fame! It’s sure to be another epic party to remember - all captured in high definition!
