JOHNSON CROOK CELEBRATE CANADA 150 WITH NEW LYRIC VIDEO FOR CANADA TO HEARTBREAK

DEBUT ALBUM TO BE RELEASED AUGUST 4th

BAND TO PERFORM CANADA DAY SHOW IN DAUPHIN, MB FOR DAUPHIN COUNTRYFEST

ON TOUR THROUGH THE SUMMER

Toronto, ON – June 27, 2017 – With Canada Day right around the corner, Toronto roots-rockers, Johnson Crook, share the cross-country road trip-inspired lyric video for their song, Canada To Heartbreak. The video premiered today exclusively with Live In Limbo. Check it out here!

The video for the bluesy rock-and-roll track was shot by Ryan Nolan and showcases the band traveling from province to province. We had a lot of fun making this video with our friend Ryan,” the band comments. “It’s something we have a lot of experience with…life on the road. It’s not always easy to be away from home and family but we still manage to have a lot of fun together. We appreciate getting to share our music and love to play this song live. It’s got a lot of energy, which seems to resonate with our audiences and it gives us a chance to feature Nathan on harmonica!”

Canada To Heartbreak comes from the band’s debut full-length album, aptly titled, The Album, which is set for release on August 4th via Coalition Music. The record encapsulates a whirlwind initial two years of live gigs and recording sessions that began almost immediately after the members’ first encounter. Fans who sign up for the band’s mailing list will get an instant download of album track, Hardwired.

It’s almost impossible not to feel a connection to Johnson Crook’s music after first hearing it. Audiences across Canada can attest to that as well, something the band acknowledges has been crucial to their development. Expect to see the band in your town at some point in the wake of the album release. Every stop brings with it a story that could become a new song, and as a group founded on the principles of equality, Johnson Crook’s creative potential is limitless.

Johnson Crook is Noel Johnson (rhythm guitars/vocals), brothers Nathan (lead guitar/mandolin/vocals) and Trevor Crook (drums/vocals) and Jared Craig (bass/vocals).
