Toronto, ON – November 27, 2020 – Jenn Grant brings the holiday cheer today with the release of her brand new record, Forever on Christmas Eve! Recorded during last year’s holiday season, the album is filled with Patsy Cline-style swagger, showcasing Jenn covering all of the classics, plus her own new original, Downtown Christmas Eve.
To celebrate the album’s release, Jenn will be performing a Christmas Spectacular showcase on December 6th. Originally set to take place live at the Halifax Convention Centre, the concert has moved to a virtual format due to recent COVID-19 restrictions, and will now be presented as a special online show, straight from Jenn’s own home.
Broadcasting from coast to coast, Jenn has teamed up with some of her favourite festivals, promoters and venues across Canada to present the show, with 50% of every ticket purchased going directly to the venue it is bought from. A full list of participating venues can be found below, and tickets from each can be found here.
Along with the virtual concert, Jenn has put together some extra special festive surprises for her fans, including gift bundles featuring products from local Nova Scotia businesses and artisans, and a limited number of ‘Mini Carol Shows’ where Jenn will personally Zoom in for a private online show to sing some of her favourite holiday tunes.
But that’s not all! Jenn has one more trick up her sleeve to spread even more holiday cheer this year. With proof of purchase of a show ticket, merch or music item, fans will get to nominate a special someone who lives in the Halifax Regional Municipality, for the chance to have Jenn personally show up on their doorstep to play a socially distanced carol. “The holidays are nostalgic,” Jenn reflects. “We watch the same old movies, we hang the white and blue lights, and check in with each other on how it’s been. We miss our families, we fall in love, we find hope again in human kind. I’ve had over a decade of Christmases now with my partner Daniel Ledwell, and we made this album together last holiday season. We hope it gives you something to get into that special spirit, and we hope that our kids will always love this time of year as much as we do. May this be a keepsake for them and for you, as we all get older and watch the snow fall.”

About Jenn Grant
In June of 2019, Jenn released her latest full-length album, Love, Inevitable. The record was a marker for a period of change in Jenn’s life; of moving through one moment and leaving it behind, almost carefree, for another. After making four consecutive albums with her husband, Daniel Ledwell (and being nominated for three JUNO Awards), Jenn stepped out of her usual comfort zone and reached out to Grammy nominated American producer and engineer, Tucker Martine. A synergetic and collaborative team was born, spending the bulk of the summer months recording in Portland, Oregon. Jenn earned earned four 2020 East Coast Music Award nominations for the album: Folk Recording of the Year, Solo Recording of the Year, Fans’ Choice Entertainer of the Year, and Fans’ Choice Video of the Year for Keep A Light On. In February of 2020, she followed up with Reimagine EP, which acted as a companion piece to Love, Inevitable. The EP was recorded around Nashville and at Echo Lake Recordings in Nova Scotia, and featured three new original tracks, a cover of Don Henley’s Boys Of Summer, and an acoustic version of Love, Inevitable single, Raven.
