I DON’T KNOW HOW THEY FOUND ME UNPLUGS WITH AN ELECTRIFYING ACOUSTIC VERSION OF SINGLE CHOKE

Toronto, ON – April 26, 2019 – Choke, breaking artist, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me (iDKHOW)’s debut single, currently #18 on the Alternative radio chart with nearly 28-million streams, gets a whole new make-over today as a playful acoustic track. With iDKHOW’s creative force, Dallon Weekes, on lead vocals and bass, the acoustic Choke is backed only by ragtime-imbued piano, horns and bass, and a gleeful-sounding background chorus, all coming across like a musical theatre sing-a-long. Check out the song here.

The original Choke single is taken from iDKHOW’s debut EP, 1981 Extended Play (Fearless) and is an excellent example of Weekes’ catchy, upbeat music juxtaposed with witty, sardonic lyrics:

Now shut your dirty mouth

If I could burn this town

I wouldn’t hesitate

To smile while you suffocate and die…

…Dallon sings over the song's exuberant horn-laden chorus.

iDKHOW Weekes along with good friend Ryan Seaman on drums is currently on its first-ever US headline tour that kicked off Wednesday night with a sold-out show in Dallon's hometown of Salt Lake City.  Headline shows and festival appearances across the UK and Europe are to follow next month.  Touring is in support of Choke and the 1981 Extended Play EP that has already racked up 42.4 million streams.
