"[Gov't Mule's] songs stomp and wail with unmistakable energy and heft." – NPR

Toronto, ON – May 5, 2017 – Today, Gov't Mule, has released a brand new track, Dreams & Songs, from their anticipated 10th studio album, Revolution Come… Revolution Go, out June 9th on Fantasy Records. Listen to the song here. The gorgeous tune, co-produced by Don Was and Warren Haynes, premiered via Billboard.com. It is a moving reflection on how the passing of time and life’s changes can move one further away from home, and beautifully captures the yearning to go back to that place, even if just through dreams and songs. Hazy guitar riffs drift over Haynes’ honeyed vocals accented with a soulful grit that adds an undeniable power to the track. Revolution Come… Revolution Go is available for pre-order now via iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Spotify, PledgeMusic and Mule.net. With each order, fans will receive instant downloads of Dreams & Songs, as well as the two lead singles – the hard-charging rocker, Stone Cold Rage, and the simmering, Sarah, Surrender.

In celebration of Gov’t Mule’s first album in four years, the band will embark on the Revolution Come… Revolution Go Tour this summer. This will follow the band’s Come What May Tour this spring, kicking off with a headlining show at Central Park SummerStage on May 17th in New York City. See full routing below for all upcoming dates. Steeped in the roots and mystique of rock, blues, soul, jazz and country, Revolution Come… Revolution Go is Gov’t Mule’s most diverse album to date, and enriches their distinguished legacy with cleverly-crafted songs, and downright incendiary playing, while the depth and breadth of the band’s stunning songwriting is displayed with full force. Dreams & Songs elegantly showcases the more personal side of the album, which also features timely lyrical commentary on the emotions that Americans are feeling in this divided political climate. The band began recording the album in Austin, TX, on Election Day in November 2016, with half the country poised for upset no matter the outcome. While Gov’t Mule’s storytelling has always been inspired in part by American struggles and experiences, Revolution Come… Revolution Go finds the band’s finger on the pulse of the tension and emotions felt across the country regardless of political affiliation. These lyrical observations are threaded together with a message of unity and a reminder that we are all in this together.

Gov’t Mule – GRAMMY® Award-winning vocalist, songwriter, guitar legend Warren Haynes [vocals, guitar], Matt Abts [drums], Danny Louis [keyboards, guitar, and backing vocals], and Jorgen Carlsson [bass] – has galvanized a global fan base with their music and improvisational virtuosity, leading them to be recognized as one of the most timeless, revered and active bands in the world whose spot amongst rock titans remains unshakable.
