DENZEL CURRY RELEASES VIDEO FOR ULTIMATE FEAT. JUICY J ON THE HEELS OF THE TRACK’S GOLD CERTIFICATION

SHARES NEW TRACK SUMO EXCLUSIVELY ON APPLE MUSIC

 

Toronto, ON – April 3, 2018 – Carol City, Florida artist, Denzel Curry, has officially gone certified “Gold” for his track, Ultimate. In anticipation of the status, he teamed up with Apple Music and director, Mike Piscitelli, to create a video for it with a new Juicy J verse and cameo. Taking on his own stuntman duties and casting a recognizable Lexus LS400, the visual for the viral track is a nod to Curry’s love of anime and visual art with reference points that include Street Fighter II (remember the part in the arcade where you beat up their car?), Dragon Ball Z and other Easter eggs that fans of the aesthetic will fight over themselves.  

What served as an intro to a global audience, Ultimate is serving as a bridge to Denzel’s new track, Sumo, which is only on Apple Music until this Friday (April 6), and first heard as a Zane Lowe World Record on Beats 1, with an interview you can stream here.  Produced by Charlie Heat, Sumo, is as gargantuan as its name suggests.
