DCF RELEASES NEW SINGLE BRING A FRIEND

VIDEO FOR BRING A FRIEND PREMIERES  WITH BLACKBOOK

46 DATE NORTH AMERICAN TOUR WITH LIGHTS KICKS OFF NEXT WEEK

Toronto, ON – January 26, 2018 – Today, Toronto-based pop artist, DCF (aka David Charles Fischer), shares his infectious new single, Bring A Friend. The track is the first single from his debut LP – due out later this year on Entertainment One – and is accompanied by a video that perfectly captures the fun and cheeky nature of the song. Have a look at the video, which premiered today on BlackBook.

The video for Bring A Friend – which was directed by Sean L. T. Cartwright – was filmed on location in Toronto and features cameos by a number of local artists, including The Darcys, Ralph, eTalk’s Liz Trinnear, Harrison, Derek Hofman of Brighter Brightest, and 3OH!3’s Nate Motte – who collaborated with DCF on the previously released track, Sky Ferreira.

"I originally intended to write Bring A Friend for another artist,” DCF comments. “I had the concept, and I basically just wanted to write a crazy banger that somebody like Justin Bieber would want to put on his record. My producer, Derek, had sent me the track, and then we went in together to build it out. I listened to the demo on my walk back home to Chinatown. I ended up listening to it 16 times in a row and decided I had to keep the track for myself."

Audiences will get a taste of the songs from the new album when he hits the road with Lights as support for her 2018 North American tour (dates listed below). DCF has toured in support of Shawn Mendes, Lights, and Coleman Hell, and has hit the stage at festivals such as NXNE, CMW and Halifax Pop Explosion. He saw sold out headline shows at The Rivoli, The Piston and Adelaide Hall in Toronto on the back of his self-released Pop Songs EP.
